Referencing John Chamberlain's Foam Sculptures (1966-70), the Foamsofa is constructed entirely from closed-cell, high-density polyurethane foam. The foam's density and tension, maintained by a braided, high-strength Kevlar cord, provide structure and controlled volumes, giving the sofa both graphical and sculptural qualities.
