The second generation Daydream View (2017) offers a wider field of view, improved comfort with a redesigned facepad and a heat sink integrated in the front door. The heat sink has been thermally engineered with precisely designed openings to effectively dissipate heat and enhance the overall VR experience. In addition, the construction has been simplified by removing plastic parts to maximize the fabric appeal. The headset features a custom-designed two-tone textile knit, which adds a sense of controlled depth and is available in three color options.
